Mustela Social Feed

Spring 2024

These are a selection of carousel visuals I created for Mustela Hong Kong’s Facebook and Instagram pages, in collaboration with our copywriter as part of our monthly social media content plan for promotion and awareness. As one of our social retainers, it was part of the monthly social media content plan we developed for them to highlight promotional offers and all their different products.

We were requested to create visuals that were more in line with their global brand guidelines as opposed to their current look. However, due to the inherent difference in Eastern and Western markets—including language and the type of content the client wanted to have, we had to be more flexible with our designs. Hence, while we made sure to incorporate similar illustrated and handdrawn elements and maintain the essence of the brand, we had to go for a less minimalistic feel and become more creative with our compositions. For example, using a combination of vector illustrations and real photos for textures and environments to not only highlight the organic and natural nature of their products, but also give it an approachable yet premium look.
